moocvaluechain 9 minute training module - on where will world go if richer nations are led by lower cost instead of higher quality

In skype with Norman Macrae Youth Foundation dhaka-based associate Mostofa, he mentioned how dr yunus convened a meeting with many ceos and leaders in japanrecently on his idea that a quarter should be added to price charged on every Bangladeshi garment and remitted to grassroots foundations in Bangladesh aiming to improve working conditions of textile workers

I wondered if this was a campaign synergetic with Pennies4Progress and results 2013 summer conference. I am not sure what help dr yunus wants on those from supporter networks but it might be worth asking him

chris

1 factory irresponsibility kills over 1000 textile workers in bangaldesh- why not add quarter of a dollar to every fashion garment sourced from banagkdesh  sold at over $20- directly remitted to bangladesh bottom-up networks sustaining factory workers- wouldn't this be a way to turn fashion value chain from ever greater rresponsibiklity to ever more human quality?

2 how do pro-youth education curriculum urgently empower millions of youth get 9 minute training module on this issue

3 are any of these 3 soros networks

  1. open society
  2. central european university budapest

interested in ending externalisation economics and its destruction of futures youth most want from valuetrue chains -cf soros video economicsis bankrupt until its remapped from ground up

7 do any banks with values still exist that have grounded information on investing in good jobs out of every community they impact

Background to

GREENWASHING CRISIS as part of failure of ceos to understand brand architecture choices since genre eco-invented  by friends of EIU Brand Chartering and  gary hamel and CK prahalad 1992 -competing and collaborating for a future

What I would call corporate irresponsibility of value chains is something I have studied for over 20 years

What I think is needed is a states wide college movement. It might make a list of top 100 clothing retailers and brands and phone their pr offices quarterly- what have you done on this last quarter? For those that yunus believes are considering his proposal there might be extra questions

Whatever is done needs to be youth-led and scaled as CEOs or not going to suddenly all collaborate around this unless they see united youth movement

EXTERNALITIES CURRICULA NEED CHANGING

It could be the right time to see if here are other issue based colege networks linking to yunus- nutrition is an embryonic one. How networks scale around the isuse over time probably has common learning points, and maybe some sort of onformation sheet could be occasionally passed out at other yunus youh events

One could also hunt out which professors actually present this issues in their courses and try and move it into a sub-curriculum of an online curriculum
