Energy - Bangladesh (growing marvellously)

Fashion - garments with Japan

Agriculture and Food Security
Health - Bangladesh (Nursing college is big new opportunity especially if this leads to right sorts of partners of moocyunus)/ We see Nutrition MOOCs and entrepreneurs closely connected too

!

Other Education - Bangladesh - historically a huge partner in breaking cycle of generations of illiteracy; one of today's most exciting connections is alumni networks of grameen secondary scholars; 2nd Japan

Banking  one of the big timeline variables - is pre and post- mobile technology coming to the villages. Grameen was the most inspiring manual system with scaled impacts in many Asian countries (e Philppines , Indonesia)

Today the Grameen model remains a nationwide chnager in Bangaldesh

In Kenya which has allowed micro-safe regulations  it has inspired Jamii Bora and Mpesa as 2 leading paradigms

Turkey may well be where Grameen has the next most impact of the financial service system. We wouldn't rule out China as its policymakers are currently benchmarking grassroots solutions. In many countries it is so hard to compare microcredits because their ownership models and other most important exponential factirs are not properly documented even by the microcreditsummit campaign. For example nearly 40% of the total end poverty reach claimed by microcreditsummit is actually due tio the government run Nabrad - a worthy bank in sharing bottom up agriculture knowhow but not in any other sense related to the models that Dr Yunus no calls social business

Mobile Telecommuications

Grameenphone made bangladesh villages the poverty world's first (from 1996) massive mobile labs due to the unusual creative interaction of Yunus, Soros and Quadirs. The visions of two or more of these parties quickly conflicted but not before the greatest investment made for the poor ever- netting around a third of what became Bangladesh's largest company grameen phone. Immediate benefits - for over 7 years being the grameen phone lady who connected her group of 60 team workers to every other group as the highest income microfranchise ever designed by end poverty entrepreneurs. In parallel Bangladesh became the world's la for mobile end poverty apps- and those in healthcare became especially valued. However when we look at the actual annual reports of Grameen Phone (Bangladesh's biggest company today) its profile is looking increasingly similar to many another mobile telecoms giants. The ownership value is still linked bank to grameen's 8 million poorest members but has become a ;political hot potato). Its therefore difficult to say that today Yunus has a big impact on how the world's top mobile telecoms leaders vision the sector's purpose. However some of those who have made billions from mobile are philanhtropists today - from Mo Ibrahim with his foundation having an extraordinary impact on Africa, and Carlos Slim -who in mexico is the funder of attempts to develop Grameen banking there. We welcome recommendations on how to edit this fast-moving summary.  It is of course linked in to the most massive innovation challenges the world has seen and as such requires extraordinarily deep local conflict resolution

What is Pro-Youth Purpose of Food retailing, manufacture and agriculture

Optimalise nutrition not junk- secure health during first 1000 days of infants (end nurseless vilages and thereby empower women too)

Optimalise local food security

End poverty by freeing knowhow of crop science , irrigation etc so that each food's value chain sustains/empowers hard working producers however small

Impact neighbouring markets to food producing which include

(machine) energy- clean renewable zero-waste abundancy

financial services, and sustainable property rights and policies

health services and education,

mediating public service and whole truth professions including pro-youth economics - the latter includes preventing failure of nations and spreading peace across a borderless world

celebrating mobile technology where food can help end digital divides and build open society networks and human sustainability

.Wherever Asia has grown in the last half century - this question naturally has been pivotal. For yunus, nutrition embodied Grameen Bank's first non-financial service at start of 1980s, and his way into debating global ceos purpose - started by his partnership with Danone CEO Frank Riboud in 2005. The most vibrant of all CEO food purpose networks is now linked in by Whole Foods John Mackey who also credits Yunus as his chief inspiration for www.wholeplanetfoundation.org - the world's most reliable map of sustainable agricultural microcredit partnerships . Across the 8 or so states that have now invited all college students to social business competitions compered by Yunus mentoring and incubation networks on food security and nutritional entrepreneur solutions are most in demand

Asians have led this possibility since 1960s -eg with Japan sharing knowhow of 10 times more sustainable rice production. Bangladesh has become the greatest rural laboratory for all of the above. Wherever places wish youth to enjoy growing futures, open learning of the above is urgent . Further, so that Asia can play the fullest role in open society it is critical we celebrate china learning from all the best for youth community-grounded cases that eg Japan and Banglaldesh have open sourced and mobilised more than most nations as 2010s enters 2nd worldwide generation of collaboration technology exponentially accelerating

Pro-youth economic regional contributions linked to The Economist include

consider japan from 1962

consider asia pacific century from 1975

consider china

consider millennium goals of emerging worldwide youth generations

consider bangaldesh

While the US food market retailer Whole Foods aims to improve the nutrition of wealthy american shoppers its worldwide programs integrated ending agricultural poverty wherever it has long-term sourcing relationship; it is leading the transformation debate on the nutrition of school lunches in usa; and it is inviting ceos who value a pro-youth purpose of their sector to benchmark who their organisational networks can media this

FREEING THE TEACHERS AS WELL AS THE CHILDREN TO EXPLORE SUSTAINABILITY OF FOOD

The visibility of ceo whole purpose networks -and their ability to change place leaders and democracy itself depends on transformations in media and education. Imagine if MOOCs on purposeful network maps of food were freely online and food literacy curricula were transformed for every age group and translated sustainably to every locality's natural permutation of conditions and sustainability challenges. Is that something the purpose of the internet could have socially mediated.
